As a Port St Lucie based Family, Maternity and Newborn Photographer,
I have to say the number one question I get from clients is-
“Do you have any location suggestions for my photo session?”
My answer is always a resounding “YES”! With so many beautiful locations in the area, I guarantee that there is the perfect place for your photo session, and together, we will find it!
There are a few key questions to ask yourself, however, in deciding which location is best. These questions include-
“What type of environment am I looking for - for my photos?”
“How do I want my photos to look/feel?”
“Do I want a coastal, relaxed location with natural, soft lighting, golden sand, and rolling waves?
“Do I want a field of lush greens and beautiful trees or trees with whimsical Spanish moss?"

1. Stuart Beach- Stuart, FL
With miles of endless golden sand, rolling waves and soft, flattering lighting, Stuart Beach is the perfect place for a relaxed photo session for families and couples alike. The calm coastal environment brings just the right sense of tranquility and beauty for a dreamy, sunlit, relaxed photo session.
2. House of Refuge- Stuart, FL
For a blend of history and coastal beauty, just south of Stuart Beach is the House of Refuge. As Florida’s oldest surviving building on the east coast, its weathered brick and classic architecture makes for a charming background for any portraits session. The rocky shoreline also makes for a stunning spot to capture sunrise sessions.
3. Allapattah Flats- Palm City, FL
Allapattah Flats is a gorgeous location that offers a lush, green backdrop perfect for maternity and couples or engagement photos. The open area provides the opportunity to create beautiful moments highlighting connection without the worry of onlookers or distractions. What sets this location apart are the amazing sunsets that transform the landscape into a golden wonderland, perfect for creating those magical, golden hour photos. 5. Port St. Lucie Botanical Gardens- Port St. Lucie, FL
The name truly says it all! The Port St. Lucie Botanical Gardens is a well-known and long-standing favorite for many in the community. With over 15 types of stunning gardens including beautiful flower, butterfly, fruit, cactus and tree garden areas, everywhere you turn at this location is just another gorgeous backdrop perfect for any type of session including maternity, engagement or family.
6. White City Park- Fort Pierce, FL
White City Park is a beautiful location! What makes this location stand out from the rest are the big Spanish Moss Oak Trees all over the property giving any session a whimsical, enchanted feel. When the light catches just right in between the trees it makes for a truly breathtaking portrait! There are also lakes and other small ponds at the park allowing for versatility of portraits with a water backdrop for any session.
7. Downtown Stuart- Stuart, FL
Downtown Stuart is known for its historic beauty and charm. Did you know that Stuart has been deemed the name "America's Happiest Seaside Town"?
