Fall is officially here! Can you believe it?!
Fall is definitely one of my family's favorite seasons! With so much anticipation and excitement in the air at this time of year as we get closer to the holidays and hopes for cooler Florida Fall weather (fingers crossed), we can hardly wait for all that's coming! Equally, I always get so excited for all the pumpkin spice food and deliciousness that is to be had!
Something else that I greatly look forward to this time of year is going to the pumpkin patch with my family and enjoying the fall experience that comes with it. Between the hayrides, the fall foods and games, beautiful fall decorations, and the rows and rows of perfect pumpkins, we always find something for everyone to enjoy. Our family likes to purchase pumpkins at the end of our visit, take them home to decorate and enjoy each other's pumpkin creations.
In honor of Florida Fall, I wanted to share my insider tips with you and showcase the amazing local pumpkin patches that I have found right here on the Treasure Coast! I'm going to list my favorite pumpkin patches from Hobe Sound to Vero Beach. You'll also find the locations, hours, costs, and what sets each pumpkin patch apart from the rest. I hope you enjoy!
Martin County Pumpkin Patches
Hobe Sound Farms
Hobe Sound Farms is one of the largest activity-filled, family friendly farms operating on the Treasure Coast. Year round this farm provides guests with amazing opportunities for fun-filled holiday and seasonal experiences and Fall at Hobe Sound Farms is no exception.
Weekend visits include tractor rides, touring the farm property, and gem mining stations where children search for treasures. The activity-based pricing lets families choose only what interests them. Weekday visits offer quieter shopping at the farm stand with the same pumpkin selection. The farm continues operations through late November, making it the longest-running patch in the area. Visitors love the authentic farm atmosphere and reasonable prices.

Pumpkin Towne
I'm sure you have seen their tents as you've driven around! Pumpkin Towne transforms church parking lots into fall havens with thousands of pumpkins and family activities. They have 3 locations in the South Florida area including Jupiter, Wellington and Stuart. The Stuart location operates throughout October with extended hours that are helpful for those with busy schedules.

Pumpkin Towne carries three pumpkin types: pie pumpkins for baking, white and heirloom varieties for decoration, and traditional carving pumpkins. Families are able to choose how much they want to purchase by the cost by weight pricing structure. Kids are sure to be entertained with the bounce houses and play areas with hay bales while parents browse. Most families spend at least a few hours at this patch due to the plenty of photo opportunities and activities to entertain the entire family. Don's miss this great Fall experience!
First United Methodist Church Stuart
Located in downtown Stuart off of Kanner Hwy, First United Methodist Church Stuart offers a wonderful pumpkin patch experience with a great assortment of different pumpkins. This patch opens earlier than most, starting in late September.

This patch is provided by the ministry of First United Methodist Church, and many in the community appreciate the trust-based, community-centered approach that makes this pumpkin shopping experience very satisfactory. With no need to drive out to rural farms, this is a very convenient option for busy families wanting to secure their pumpkins early.
Palm City, FL Pumpkin Patches
Palm City Farms Produce & Market
If you've ever driven in the Palm City area, I'm sure you have seen their big red barn! My kids and I always love driving by and seeing the big red barn and the events that they have going on from time to time. This farm offers the best seasonal, local fruits, vegetables and lettuces and also offers a wide variety of specialty foods. Aside from this amazing service, Palm City Farms brings pumpkins to its year-round produce market each October. The farm provides northern Martin County families with convenient access and also has pet-friendly policies.

The patch offers thousands of pumpkins of many different sizes. They also host food trucks and photo opportunities, giving you a lovely Fall experience to enjoy while shopping their amazing market. Dogs are also welcome, making this one of the few pet-friendly patches in the area.
If you are planning on visiting this farm for the pumpkin patch, I would call ahead just to confirm the pumpkin arrival since delivery dates vary based on harvest conditions. The market’s regular produce business operates year-round, so families can combine pumpkin shopping with fresh vegetable purchases.
Blooming Freedom Fall Market
Join Blooming Freedom for a one-day, can't miss, spectacular event, where this five-acre nursery transforms into a fall festival for one special day each October.

The fall market features more than 40 local vendors alongside the pumpkin patch and specialty activities for families. This event also includes a petting zoo, crafts and food trucks that the entire family is sure to enjoy. Throughout the morning, live music creates a festival atmosphere setting the tone for an amazing day.
Aside from the market day, Blooming Freedom hosts workshops for adults interested in potting succulents in decorative pumpkin containers. These September and October workshops add creative activities for gardening enthusiasts.

Port St. Lucie, FL Pumpkin Patches
Pumpkin Decorating at the Gazebo in Tradition
Tradition is hosting a fun, creative pumpkin decorating event this year rather than traditional pumpkin sales. The community is providing all of the needed supplies for artistic families.

📅 Date: October 13, 2025
The event supplies pumpkins, paint, stickers, and decorating materials for all ages. Families can just show up without having to bring a list of supplies which is super convenient! This one-hour event is perfect to carve out into your busy weekday schedule and breaks up the weekly routine.
Registration is required for this event and Tradition residents will receive 50% off. Space is limited and the event sells out quickly, so early registration is recommended.
First Congregational Church Port St. Lucie
First Congregational combines a pumpkin patch with an annual fall festival featuring multiple attractions for families.

Lakewood Park Church engages the local Fort Pierce community with carnival-style activities and family entertainment.

Vero Beach Pumpkin Patches
A Night at the Patch- Vero Beach Church of Christ
Join Vero Beach Church of Christ for their can't miss, one-night event - The Buggy Bunch, A Night at the Patch! In lieu of a normal operating pumpkin patch, this year, they are offering a night filled with fun for the entire family!

📅 Date: October 25, 2025
This event will have music, lawn games, family relays and an outdoor movie on the lawn at 7:20pm featuring, It’s A Great Pumpkin, Charlie Brown. There will be pumpkins for sale and food available for purchase.
