My answer to all of my clients is simple- the sooner the better!
Within the first 10 days is ideal
I recommend that you book your newborn session within the first 10 days if you can!
Here's Why
To start, your baby will never be that fresh and tiny again. There is also something so incredibly special about capturing the magic of those first days with your new baby.
A Fresh 48 newborn session is perfect for making sure you capture those special, first moments with your new baby in the hospital setting as well as the first few moments as a new family and exciting first-time sibling meets.

Fresh newborns are also very sleepy! This increases the chances of getting those adorable sleeping baby photos.
Next is the chance to miss out on the baby acne stage! About two weeks after birth, babies tend to get baby acne so scheduling your newborn photo session within the first 10 days is ideal to miss out on the baby breakout stage!
With all of that said, there is NO WRONG TIME to photograph your newborn
These are just some helpful tips that I have learned along the way of being a Wellington Florida newborn photographer as well as being a Mom to 2 littles who were once just like the newborns I am now photographing. I know sometimes you can't make the 10-day window and that is perfectly fine! You can't go wrong scheduling your newborn photos at any time that works for you!
Having a newborn is such a gift. But it can also be really hard! So, give yourself grace Mama, you're doing amazing!
Is a 3 week old baby still a newborn? Yes! And we can still get some gorgeous photos!
Is it too late to do a session with a 4 or 5 week old baby? Absolutely not!! 4 or 5 week old babies are perfect for newborn photos, and I would love to capture all the magic and memories in your home through my lifestyle newborn package!
